By sheer luck my husband, our 2 sons and I managed to scrape together 4 tickets for the Cardiff V Barnsley FA Cup semi's at Wembley today. We weren't seated together, but that didn't stop us madly waving John's scarf (which he himself wore to games as a young kid with our Dad) and singing our hearts out with the rest of the 35,000+ Bluebirds fans. What a great day, he'd have loved it. 1-0 to the City, a fitting end to our own little 'pilgrimage' made in John's honour... Special thanks to Roger Pride and Steve Gillingham, without whom, etc.....
